Break and Steal an Egg Wiki

All Zones in Break and Steal an Egg

There are 10 zones, and each one is gated by Speed, not by cash or pickaxe Power. Forest opens at 5 Speed; the last documented gate is Planet X at 100 billion Speed. Every zone has its own egg pool, rarity band and a faster guardian than the one before it.

Zone list and Speed requirements

Speed values are the gate you need to enter and survive the run. Egg pools list the shells that exist in the zone; the rarity band is the ceiling the pool rolls from.

How the Speed gates actually work

Speed is a single stat trained on the treadmill and multiplied by an equipped trail. The gate is the number to compare with that stat — a pickaxe never substitutes for it. Pickaxe Power only shortens the time you spend exposed while a shell breaks, which is a different problem from the one that gets you caught on the way home.

Recommended Speed vs gate

Sources label these numbers differently. Some call them a gate you cannot enter below, others a recommended value for surviving the return trip. On this site the number is listed once and treated as the value to reach before you commit to a full carry.

Two naming and sourcing caveats

  • Hell or Volcano. The billion-Speed zone appears under both names in otherwise reliable sources. The gate and the egg pool are identical; this site uses Hell and lists Volcano as an alias.
  • Planet X is new and thin. The zone and its 100 billion Speed gate are carried by two independent sources. Its three egg names, the NIGHTMARE guardian rating and the pet roster are single-source, so they are labelled rather than presented as confirmed.
